What a lovely afternoon we had on Friday at this year’s Creating the Greenest County Awards! The weather was perfect for cycling, and this year the ceremony was held at Snape which is just 6 miles from here – so we had a very enjoyable cycle ride there. The rape is just coming into bloom, and the hedges and trees are beginning to blossom – so the air was filled with the wonderful smells of spring. To our amazement we were called up to receive the Green Travel award! We also met lots of interesting folk and had a jolly good time – thank you Green Suffolk! Proud to be part of this movement.
